YWCA Bradford welcomes Erway as executive director

The Board of Directors of the YWCA Bradford is delighted to announce the appointment of Angela Erway as the organization’s next Executive Director. With over 25 years of deep-rooted involvement in the Bradford community, Angela brings a wealth of experience and a proven commitment to the YWCA's mission.

Angela's connection to the YWCA Bradford is longstanding; she previously served as the organization’s first Development and Communications Director from 2016 to 2022. During this time, she played a pivotal role in advancing the YWCA’s outreach and fundraising efforts. Most recently, Angela has served as Director of Annual Giving at St. Bonaventure University, where she earned a Master of Science in Education in 2002 and a Master of Business Administration in 2008.

In addition to her professional achievements, Angela has significant experience in direct support with people living with mental health and developmental disabilities and is a dedicated community advocate. She is an active volunteer with several local organizations, including the Rotary Club of Bradford, Women’s Giving Circle of McKean County, and Make-A-Wish, as well as her ongoing volunteer and advocacy work with the YWCA.

We are eager to welcome Angela as she officially begins her leadership of the YWCA in September. We are confident that the YWCA will continue to make a significant impact on the community through our work, and we look forward to a future of growth and success under her guidance.
